Chakra Raku Goddess Witch's Ladder

This is a 24" long witch's ladder or pagan rosary that features a hard-fired ceramic Raku Goddess. The brass chain features 8 different colored glass beads that represent the 7 chakras and white for purity. There is a hard wire clasp at the end of the chain so it can be worn as a necklace. The clasp is strong and will hold its shape, so you don't have to worry about it slipping off!

The 7 chakras are as follows:
Pink: crown, formless supreme light, ALL ELEMENTS
Purple: between the eyes, third eye, intellect, ALL ELEMENTS
Blue: throat, spiritual drive, ETHER
Green: center of the chest, love, compassion, respiration, AIR
Yellow: navel, seat of will-power, power drive, digestion, FIRE
Orange: lower abdomen, sensual power, reproduction, WATER
Red: lower back, material drive, elimination, EARTH

Witch's ladders are traditionally made by tying feathers into a rope or knotting a rope in sections of 3, 7, 9, and 21. These numbers are considered powerful in Pagan/Wiccan traditions. Although this is obviously not a traditional witch's ladder, it serves the same purpose. Witch's ladders are used in a similar way to Catholic prayer beads-to pay homage to a god or goddess, or to meditate.
